In which Day 2 is summarized.
Fuck this! Quitting is hard, and I don’t want it to be this hard, and I hate nicotine, and I hate my fucking neuroreceptors, and I hate dopamine, and the nicotine patch is weird, and this entire process sucks rocks.

it will get better. the first days are the worst.
I just hate my dopamine receptors.
I hear ya. -m
Keep at it… I quit smoking in December using the patch. Yes it felt weird and itchy/warm – and it totally pissed me off! it sucked but it sucked less each day.
Since I hated the patch so much I said fuck your ten week program – did it in 4
1st week – 21mg patch – Step 1
2nd week – 14mg patch – step 2
3rd week – 14mg patch – step 2
4 week – 7mg patch – step 3
I still got a week worth of the step 3 – fuck it i got tire of the itchy/warm spot on my arm. One side effect to quiting – I gained 30 pounds! oh well, I was fat already – you can hardly tell!
lol
So the weekend was a total wash. I’m re-starting my quit today. Again.
One thing that helped when I quit, was removing all my smoking spots. I smoked at the table, I put the table on the other side of the room. I put one of my favorite tables in another room because I couldn’t walk by it without wanting a smoke. It helped to move or remove all my triggers. [Crumpled smoke packs, lighters, matches all had to go.] After eating, I did something different because I usually smoked. I think I went outside and walked around the house. [Can’t remember] Best Wishes and lots of blessings to ya. If you decide you aren’t going to quit, no judgement, I know it’s hard. Call me…
