I put Bindu down on Saturday. She was 14.
She’s buried at my uncle’s place, just outside of town. I can’t really talk about it right now. I’m pretty much avoiding Twitter, Facebook, email, and my phone UNTIL I CAN FUCKING DEAL. Which I totally can’t just yet.
Thank you for your well wishes.

Their lives are so short. It’s just heartbreaking watching them grow and live their entire lives, becoming feeble while we’ve merely thickened and grizzled and wrinkled. It’s so painful to lose so close a friend this way. You have my deepest sympathy.
Thank you. – m
Take comfort in the fact that Bindu had the best life possible with you and that Bindu helped make your life a little fuller and a little better. 14 is a ripe old age! I know how difficult this is, and I wish you all the peace you can find.
Thanks, Seth. – m
there are many pithy sayings that you know but the only one that seems apt to me is Gautama Buddha’s advice to hise followers as he was dying. “do the best you can.” I think you did your best.
