A couple of weeks ago, a writer from the NYT contacted me to see if I had anything clever to say about pretending to be on my cell phone when I’m not. I didn’t, so she didn’t interview me, but here’s the article I’m not in anyway:
Reach Out and Touch No One
By AMY HARMON
It’s weird how many people aren’t actually using any of their minutes. Do any of you do this? Pretend to be on the phone? Maybe you’d need this subterfuge more if you lived in a state with more than 80 people in it. Out here, you can see ’em coming from miles away and can escape! LOL!

I always joked about people doing that, but I didn’t think many people actually did. Weirdos.
