In which… hmm. Nothing, I guess.
It snowed a little bit last night, a light dusting.
That’s the view out the windshield of the jeep as I drove down the driveway this morning. (Does every language refer to weather as “it”? “It” rained, “it” snowed?) The roads were totally clear. But it made everything look white and clean, instead of muddy and dead. And that was nice.

Well, you know, cell phone camera and everything. Irresistable.
No, not every language. For example, in French they use the pronoun for “he” in impersonal statements like “it snowed”, in Welsh they use the pronoun for “she” for the same purpose. Most Germanic languages that recognize neuter pronouns (the “it”) use their own to make impersonal statements, and most Slavic ones just use a third-person verb without an attached pronoun.
